• To help parents in our school community achieve their highest goals in the education of their children.
OUR GOALS
At Crescent Montessori School we support the developmental characteristics and needs of each child – intellectually, socially, physically, emotionally and spiritually. We foster in our students a love of learning that will last a lifetime. We work to build respectful long-term relationships with parents as partners in the education of their children.
PHILOSOPHY
Our philosophy is inspired by the lifelong work in education of Dr. Maria Montessori. She created the model for our classrooms and the learning materials. Crescent Montessori is proud to continue her great work in developmental psychology and education.

To the best of our individual and collective abilities, we pursue our mission with honesty, accountability, patience and care.
PRACTICES
The process of life long learning is an exciting journey. We work to engage the natural curiosity in our students by preparing our classrooms with a broad range of active learning experiences. We create an atmosphere of freedom and respect where each child is trusted to make choices appropriate for their level of development and readiness.
INTENTIONS
With enthusiasm we encourage our students to develop their unique talents. With curiosity we learn from our students and their families. With personal and traditional knowledge we share what we have learned and inspire children to respect themselves, to respect others and to respect nature and the environment.
