  • About the Enrollment Process

The individualized nature of our program allows children to be enrolled as space permits, anytime during the school year.

You are warmly invited to come visit our school and spend time in our classrooms. Seeing students at work and getting a feel for the school is an important part of the admissions process. School visits are scheduled Thursday mornings at 9:00 and last 40 minutes.

We consider children for enrollment in the order that we receive the requests. Our goal is to create a good match between school the student and family.

    The enrollment process includes:

    Classroom Visit:

This is an opportunity for you to learn more about our school and for us to get to know you. The initial visit is for parents and children.

    Interview:
After your visit the teacher will contact you for an interview meeting where we have a chance to learn more about each other and your child.

    Student Visit:
For elementary students this is an opportunity to spend part of the day in the classroom with the class.

    Registration and Enrollment:
Is the final step in the process and is complete upon receipt of the fees and forms for your child's file.

Please feel free to contact the school with any questions. Thank you again for your interest in Crescent Montessori School.

    MONTESSORI ELEMENTARY:

     WHERE LEARNING IS AN ADVENTURE

     THE PARADE OF
    HISTORY

Scientists believe the earth was formed more than 4.6 billion years ago. Our earth is a remarkable place. It is not the largest or the smallest planet in our solar system; it does not have rings or the most moons. Our earth is remarkable because it has
life - many many kinds of life.

Our elementary history curriculum follows a magnificent story from the
creation of the universe to the formation of the earth and how  life began in the first chapters of living history.

This story forms the basis of integrating our classroom studies of the sciences, geography, and the gifts of mankind emphasizing the development of language and mathematics.

Our most important job as humans is to take care of the earth. Learning to appreciate the gift of life through all areas of curriculum each and every day is what makes Montessori education so special.
